I have to admit to you, if someone had told me that I would be a Healing Practitioner 10 years ago, I would not have believed it. I have a Bachelor of Business degree, am a qualified dog trainer, and have also worked as a pet care professional for over five years, running my own business. I have held an interest in alternative healing modalities for a number of years, and previously trained in Reiki up to Practitioner level (Level 2). I learned Reiki to heal both people and animals. Animals are such a large and important part of my life, that it was only natural for me to want to help them in any way I can.
I stumbled upon Reconnective Healing by accident, and felt compelled to find out more. I bought Eric’s book, and amazingly, I started to feel “strange” sensations in my hands. I knew I had to go on to learn more, so in May 2009 I took my level 1 and 2 training with Eric Pearl in London. To say that the seminars and then my personal reconnection was life changing would not even come close to describing it. When I see the profound changes that can be brought about by this healing work, I am filled with both awe and wonder. Needless to say, I continued on to complete my Level 3 training, to enable me to facilitate The Reconnection for others.
Personally, I have experienced many health improvements from Reconnective Healing. For example, during one healing session, I experienced a lot of involuntary movement through a foot that had been seriously injured and causing me pain for over 20 years. After the session, the pain had gone...it just disappeared! During the week following, I felt the frequencies in the foot and leg each night when I went to bed. The foot was still improving, I now have feeling back in areas that were numb due to nerve damage, the movement has improved and the pain is still gone.
